My dog has bloody diarrhea after eating fiberglass & pills. Vet now?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 21 days old | 55 lbs

My dog is a one year old pit. The other day she chewed up four of my night time cold pills and also chewed up a small piece of a fiber glass golf club. She now has very watery diarrhea and when I take her out every hour she has to go but also squats about 4-5 times and lets out a couple drops of blood. I fed her boiled chicken and rice last night. It's now 12 hours later just super concerned not sure what to do. She's not whining or crying when she poops and is acting normal like she always does

The fiber glass golf club Nova ate could be causing trauma to her GI tract, leading to the blood in her feces. It's important that she sees a vet right away for this. She may need gut protectants to prevent further damage to her GI tract, and any other treatment the vet deems necessary. Please take her into a vet now.
