Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Female | spayed
My labradoodle feel of my daughters bed last night and she appeared to have slight limp in back left leg. This morning it has stiffened over night and she is having trouble putting weight on it to rise. Once she is up and walking for a bit it seems to free up but she prefers to just lay. Could she of jarred it or sprained it. She is not whimpering and seems happy

It is possible that Molly sprained it, but she could have also torn a ligament. I would recommend resting her for the next 48 hours. No running, jumping, or playing. Take her out to toilet on a lead only, and bring her right back in when she's done. If she still appears painful and is limping after this time, then I would take her into the vet for an exam. The vet can diagnose where the pain is coming from, and can dictate a treatment plan for it. She may also benefit from some pain medications. Please do not give her any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.
