Could my dog's non-itchy bald spots and flaky skin be mange?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year old | 60 lbs

I'm trying to figure out if my dog has a gluten allergy or if she has mange. She has dry bald spots on the top of her head and dry flaky spots on her ears she doesn't itch the spots

Gluten allergies are extremely rare in dogs (most food sensitivities appear to be to meat origin or preservatives/colourants etc) and as a general rule of thumb allergies present as primary itching followed by skin damage. It is much more likely that non-itchy patches of hair loss/scaling are related to demodectic mange
