Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 16 days old | 50 lbs
i have a 6 mo dog and I believe he may be suffering from an allergic reaction. I originally had him on pedigree puppy food, but then I switched to iams puppy food for large breeds. And now he is constantly licking, chewing, and gnawing on his legs (the upper parts, not so much on his paws) he's also on zoleius(I think) for flea prevention and he's also on heartgard for heartworm preventative. He's had his rabies and he's up to day on shots. What could cause the discoloration on his upper legs?

Poor Nash! It does sound like he may be suffering from an allergic reaction. Constant licking, chewing, and gnawing on the legs can cause the discoloration on his upper legs. I would have Nash seen by a vet first thing in the morning if possible. The vet can prescribe medications to help him with these allergies.
