Are Rottweilers safe pets, or are they prone to aggression?

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | 1 month and 18 days old | 5.7 lbs

I recently bought a rottweiler but today i took it to a veterinary clinic n the doctor scared the hell out of me saying that i have made a big mistake owing this dog .He said this dog is not good he'll be very aggressive and dangerous once he'll grow , he'll harm me and many other thing.. i just wanna know is it safe to own a rottweiler or not . Please help

Rottweilers, as a breed, can be very good pets - some are aggressive, but many are friendly and easy-going. I'm not sure if there was something about your puppy in particular that may have concerned your vet, such as signs of aggression or extreme fearfulness during the visit - if so, early referral to a veterinary behavior specialist would be the best option to determine if there is a problem and start working on it early in life. If the puppy is acting normal (friendly and curious, not overly anxious or aggressive towards anyone), there is no particular reason at this stage to think that he won't be a good pet when he's older.
