Jaundice is a sign that the liver is not functioning properly. This can be caused by giving the dog human pain medicine, a virus (leptospirosis and others), parsites, a liver abscess and many more. Jaundice is serious, and you need to take Shin Hye to a veterinarian for an exam and blood tests.

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. If he has a history of hepatitis, and you are seeing episodic jaundice I would recommend getting an abdominal ultrasound done on him. I would also recommend starting him on a supplement called Denamarin, which can be found online quite easily. I would also recommend having his blood values tested every 6 months or more frequent depending on how severe his liver values are. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
