My miniature pinchers stomach is swollen and when touched it makes an almost popping sound

Poor Bailey! This is a sign of possible bloat and eventually torsion; gastrointestinal inflammation, dietary related or related to infection is possible as well. I would strongly recommend a check up as soon as possible to determine the cause of it. A bloat and eventually torsion is considered a medical/surgical emergency and immediate veterinary care should be seek.

    If Bailey has such a swollen belly and if it sounds like a drum when you tap it, she may be bloated and this is an emergency. Please take her to an ER for an exam and release of the gas in her stomach right away.
