My FeLV positive cat has diarrhea and accidents. Is it FeLV related?

My cat tested faint positive for FELV before we adopted him. So far he has been acting normal, but it seems like he has a lot of diarrhea that stink very badly. Tonight I was in the shower and he seemed to have had a small accident on my bed, and ran to the litterbox (in my bathroom) when i got out. I'm not sure if this was just an accident, like some coming out with a fart, or is this something to worry about? please help! Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 8 lbs

Persistent diarrhea is a symptom of FeLV, and given that Derek has had a positive to the disease, it's possible that his diarrhea is due to this. I would have him seen by a vet in the morning. Derek may benefit from some medications for his diarrhea, and the vet can prescribe them to him if needed.
