my bitch puppy stopped heat bleeding just over a week ago, we have just reintroduced our male dog to her and he is trying to mount her, if we let them do their business will she get caught? Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 17 days old

Typically when a bitch stops bleeding, it means that their heat is over, and if it stop over a week ago, then it's not likely Misty could get pregnant. Given that some dogs can bleed very little during their heat, so little that owners don't notice, I would keep them apart for another week to be safe.
