My cat has bronchitis, isn't eating, and is hiding. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Cat | Exotic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 7 years and 5 months old | 14 lbs

Pea went to vet determined bronchitis gave conivia and another depo shot . She keeps smacking her lips I asked him about this never got answer . She's not eating but maybe one table spoon dry won't touch the wet I heated it welluva . Ten seconds . Now hiding in her play tent. I don't know how keep her comfortable and get her to eat. My hospice nurse trying to keep me calm but I'm so worried about Peapumpkin. Is her hiding and not eating normal she always sits with me reason I'm so worried .

I'm sorry you are so worried and concerned about Peapumpkin! First off, you did the right thing by bringing her into the vet. Smacking her lips can be a sign of nausea in cats. If she has bronchitis, she will be feeling unwell and not want to eat and hide. It will take time for the medications to take effect, and I would keep offering her the warmed smelly wet food and some boiled white meat chicken (no rice). Give the medications 24 hours to take effect, and then if she still isn't eating and is hiding, I would worry then and have her seen by a vet.
