Why is my dog bleeding from his anus after pooping and a lump shows?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | 8 years and 8 months old | 70 lbs

My dog just recently started bleeding from his anus after bowel movements and today I noticed a hemorrhoid like thing comingredients out from the middle of his anus

Poor Roscoe! It's not normal to bleed from the anus after bowel movements, and the thing you see sticking out of his anus could be a tumor, impacted and infected anal sac, or his rectum could be prolapsed. Roscoe could see a vet right away for this, and I would bring him into a vet ASAP to be examined so this can be treated.

    Hello. I’m not sure if you meant to attach a photo, but there is no photo with your post. Blood drops from the anal area can indicate numerous things. He could have an anal sac abscess, a bleeding polyp, hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, an injury, a foreign body. Without an exam, we cannot diagnose this. We also are not legally allowed to prescribe any medication on this site....we are strictly a question and answer service. I’m afraid that this will require a veterinarian examination to determine the cause and to get the proper treatment.
