Why do both my cats have loose bloody stool after recent shots?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old

Ok so I posted an hour ago about my first cat now, my other cat has just been to the toilet and the same symptoms have presented. Slightly loose stool with fresh blood tracking through :( Again, she's indoor has recently been dewormed and vaccs completed. I've made an apt with the vet but just wondered what it could be if they're both displaying the same symptoms (no other symptoms mind you, eating fine etc) thanks again!

I'm sorry Marli is now having the same symptoms! Given that they are both having it, it could be they both ate something they shouldn't have, like a foreign object or plant. It could also be that they are constipated from their diet or lack of exercise, and straining to poop could cause blood in the feces. It's a good idea that you are taking both into the vet, hope they feel better soon!
