My puppy has a red patch on his leg that is pussing and has a couple spots that show dry skin and small hair loss in those spots. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 3 days old | 10 lbs

It sounds as though poor little Beans has a skin infection. Try to keep the area dry and prevent him from licking or chewing at it. I would not try to put anything on the wound and instead wait to have him seen by a veterinarian. It is likely that he may need topical antibiotics to help heal the area.
