My pet's eye has white discharge after abscess. Is it infected or treatable?

A couple months ago, I had asked about a bump on Kuri's face. Just like I was told, it was an abscess and got him treated as son as possible. Now that it's completely gone, he still has a white discharge from his right eye (same side that the abcsess was on). Do you think he still has the infection? Is there any way of stopping it from getting worse? He also had discharge from the nose but it stopped as soon as I started him on vitamine c drops. Is this related in any way?

I'm glad Kuri was successfully treated! It could be this white discharge is an eye infection, unrelated to the abscess. The best way to stop it is to have him seen by a vet as soon as possible. Any eye condition should be considered an emergency, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. The vet can prescribe an antibiotic eye ointment if he does have an eye infection. It is possible that he could have a respiratory infection that caused the runny nose and eye discharge, but given that the eye discharge hasn't gone away, Kuri does need to be seen and treated for it.
