Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 3 years and 6 months old | 12 lbs
My cat do go to the vet: problem is he still not having bowel movements, he has bee scooped out enemas lactulose cisapride special food with fiber still not having good bowel movements, also it's a 350 km drive to get him there. I woul like to know if the fiber food is going to help?

I would certainly hope the fiber food will help Casper, but without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. It sounds like you've done the right things by taking him to see a vet and having this medication. You can also try adding a teaspoon of canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) with his food to see if that helps. Unfortunately, sometimes with cats they become so back up that manual removal may be required to do, which can only be done by a vet. When you say he's been "scooped out," I'm assuming that's what you mean, but it may have to be done again if he continues to have problems with pooping. Try the special food, if it doesn't work, let the vet know right away, and you may have to make another trip to have Casper seen. I hope he feels better soon!
