How often should I bathe my dog and what shampoo is best for her coat?

How often should I bathe molly? Is it only when she gets into something? I think she is double coated but I dont know how to tell. Also, should i use dark fur shampoo because shes brown and black hair. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 26 lbs

Great questions! Unless Molly gets into something, she doesn't need to be bathed more than once a month. That's because bathing her too often can strip her skin of her natural oils and dry it out. It's fine to use a dark fur shampoo, just make sure it's formulated for dogs :-)
