Pet's info: Dog | Cocker Spaniel | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 2 months old | 25 lbs
My dog is a 6 years old Cocker Spaniel, the past few days he has been twisting his head to the left side and he tried to shake his head and put it back forward; I can see he has a hard time doing that. So today my husband was petting him and he felt a lump on his ear.

It sounds like Boo Boo may have an ear infection, which is common in Cocker Spaniels, and if this lump is squishy and on his ear flap, then it probably is a aural hematoma. This is when blood and fluid get trapped between the layers of the ear flap. I would take Boo Boo into the vet first thing in the morning. Ear infections in dogs can be caused by ear mites, bacteria, and yeast, and the vet can diagnose if he has an ear infection, what's causing it, and can prescribe treatment for it.
