The problem with chocolate milk is that it contains both chocolate and milk. Chocolate is toxic to cats, and milk causes GI upset because cats are lactose intolerant. Cali likely will be ok if she drank a very small amount, but you could see some vomiting and/or diarrhea. If you do see that, I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet.

One drop of a chocolate drink is not likely to cause any problems for your kitty. We can see toxic effects with chocolate but the amount in a drink like this is usually too small to cause problems unless a large volume is ingested. I would observe Lucky for signs such as vomiting, diarrhea, hyperactivity/excitability, trembling/muscle tremors, or seizures. If these occur (which is highly unlikely) then an examination by a vet is recommended ASAP. Most likely Lucky will not be affected by this tiny ingestion.

You probably don't need too worry very much. Chocolate, though not something I would feeding my cat on purpose, is not as toxic to cats as it is to dogs. In this particular case, I would be more concerned about the consumption of milk. Based on your observation, it sounds like only a very small amount was consumed. I would not expect to see anything in terms of clinical signs except for some mild diarrhea or vomiting. I do not believe this warrants a visit to the vet at this time.

If she just stuck her foot in your drink and licked her paw then I wouldn't be too concerned. If she a lot drank directly from the cup then I would be more concerned. That small amount shouldn't cause any toxicity. It may give her an upset tummy so if you see any vomiting or diarrhea, let your vet know when they reopen. Other things to look for are restlessness, dilated pupils, muscle tremors, and worst case scenario seizures. Most of these are very unlikely, but if you see anything like these, I would try to get her to an emergency clinic if at all possible. And it is hard to say for sure, but I bet that is a teaspoon. If you have measuring spoons, those are the best things to use when trying to measure ingredients. I hope this helps!

The good news is that milk chocolate is the least toxic type of chocolate, and if it was a small piece with caramel inside, there likely isn't a lot of chocolate in it and your cat should be fine. I recommend monitor her for now, and if you do see some signs of chocolate toxicity such as vomiting, lethargy, or anorexia, I would have her seen by a vet. It's likely, however, she will be just fine :-)
