My Bulldog's hair is hard and falling out after bath. Skin issue?

Gave my Bulldog a bath brushed her with a new brush now she has hard dry hair in places on her back so gave her another bath a couple of days later now where that hard hair was her hair is falling out she is also in heat. Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Female | unspayed

She could have a skin infection so you could bathe her with a medicated dog shampoo and see if that helps. If the problem continues than she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause and best way to treat her problem. She may need an antibiotic, antihistamine, and/or a corticosteroid to help.
