My senior dog is vomiting all day. Should I call the vet now?

My dog, a 15 year old schnoodle, must have gotten into something in the backyard because he has been vomiting all day. His first few vomits were chunky and orange, but recently they have just been clear. He is drinking water but doesn't want any food. He hasn't had diarrhea, but I think he ate something in the backyard because my weimaraner was vomiting because of the same issue a week ago, but he returned to normal after a day. Should I call a vet if he is not better by tomorrow? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 15 years and 1 month old | 13 lbs

I would have Dave seen by a vet now if he's been vomiting all day. If his vomit is now clear, I'd be concerned that he's vomiting water as well. Given he's a senior dog, he can quickly become dehydrated, which isn't good for his kidneys. My recommendation would be to take him into a vet now who may give him a shot to stop the vomiting, IV fluids for hydration, and any other treatment necessary.
