Dog swallowed plastic squeaker, has mucus on poop. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Australian Cattle Dog | Female | spayed | 8 years old | 53 lbs

My dog is a 53 pound Australian Cattle dog. She ingested one of those small plastic round squeakers (only about 1" size) after she ripped open one of her plush toys. This was on Monday night. Since then she has pooped 5 times and I went smashing/searching through her poop and did not find the squeaker. She is acting like her normal self no signs of discomfort. I did notice on her poop today that there was a little bit of white-ish color coating around her poop. I was wondering if her stomach aci

This whitish color around her poop sounds like mucus. This can be due to inflammation of the GI tract, which could be caused by this squeaker. Given that you have been searching Shade's poop for the squeaker without finding it and she's now having mucus on her poop, I would be concerned that the squeaker is stuck in her GI tract. I would bring Shade into the vet now for a physical exam and x-rays. If the squeaker is stuck, she will need surgery to remove it.
