Cat losing weight, peeing outside box, and bath water is red?

I have a male cat who is peeing and pooping out of the litter box. He is also losing weight, although he still eats and drinks. I know he has fleas, and when I bathe him the water runs deep red. I know he's not bleeding but I know it's not normal to bathe a cat and the water run red. I'm really worried, and I haven't had the money to take him to a vet as of yet. Is there something I can do without taking him to the vet that will help his condition? I know I gotta take him sometime. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

He has to see a vet as soon as possible, the red you are seeing is blood from the flea poop, and if he's suffering from a heavy flea infestation, he could also be suffering from anemia due to the blood loss.
