I have a 1year old yellow cat. We think he got into insulation under a trailer. He first started breaking out on the top of his head and along his back. It has gotten worse covering most of his body. We bathed him and put anti itch med. for cats on him. we have kept him in the house for over 2 weeks. He continues to dig until he is bleeding. He is eating normally. What can we do?

Poor Mylow! If this has been going on for two weeks now and is not improving, I would definitely recommend taking him to the vet at this point. It's possible that he may have had an allergic reaction to the insulation that will require injectable steroids to treat effectively, and he may also need an antibiotic if he has been scratching so badly that his skin is bleeding.
