My dog won't eat, hides, and is lethargic. Are his ulcers back?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 7 months old

My dog does not have any appetite in the morning. He used to have ulcers a few months ago but reacted very well to the treatments. Since yesterday he is not even eating his favorite treats ( carrots). He hides and he looks out of energy. Chicken and rice are not helping either :(

Poor Tommy! Given that he had ulcers a few months ago, it could be that they are acting up again, and I recommend having him seen by a vet. He may need medication again to treat his ulcers, which would help him eat again.
