My female dog has a growing lump on her anus. What could it be?

My female pet dog has a lump on her anus. I noticed it yesterday when it was a small lump but today it has got increasingly bigger. It is located at between 9 to 11 o'clock on her anus. It has also somewhat made the left side of her bottom larger than the right side. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 5 years and 1 month old | 44 lbs

It sounds like her anal gland is impacted, possibly blocked, you will have to take her to the vet to get it emptied. in most cases it's just a matter of squeezing it hard enough but if it is completely blocked it might require a procedure under sedation.
