My cat passed a worm. Can I use Revolution and Drontal again so soon?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

is it permissable to worm Merrill previous to one month since her last worming? two days after having been in a two- hour boarding while i went to my doctor, Merrill passed or vomitted a full size dead worm in her litter box. i have Revolution and Drontal and wonder if three weeks is too soon to give her Revolution and Drontal again? it could have been a round worm but was about 5" in length. i would sure appreciate your considerate opinion about frequency of worming?

Yes, it is fine to deworm her again. Due to the fact that Merrill currently has worms, she should be dewormed every month for the next two to three months, and then she should be dewormed every three months. It's also safe to give her the Revolution again now. It can be given as early as two weeks after the previous treatment if needed.
