My cat's nose is bleeding and looks gnawed. Should I go to the vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 10 months and 6 days old

Hello, we moved.to a country side place where Haru can play and discover new things, today he came exhausted and gasping like a dog, and then I noticed he was bleeding from his nose. His nose looks like it was gnawed by something. This is the first time it happens, should I pay close attention and take him to a vet? Or is it something normal to take care at home? Do you have some recommendations? Thanks a lot.

Apparently haru tried to mess with another animal. this could have been a rat. Haru should have rabies vaccinations, and it would be better if you had him neutered, as he would not roam so far, would not stink and he would not get into fights with other tomcats, getting infected with viral disease. You should take Haru to a veterinarian for an exam. the vet will prescribe antibiotics. At that time you can also consult with your vet about vaccinations and castration.
