My horse has EPM-like symptoms. Could it be something else? Vet?

I have a question about my horse Chance. He is showing signs of EPM and has been for a while. A friend of mine boarded her horses at the same barn he is and all 3 of her horses tested positive. He is always 'lazy', very reluctant to move, very moody all the time, drags his feet, spins constantly in his stall, is very mean to any other horse in the field, and is ALWAYS very stiff. I've had him for 4 years it has gotten worse. Could these symptoms be something else? Should I consult a vet ASAP?

Even though the other horses tested positive and Chance could have EPM, we cannot rule out other causes including orthopedic disease. I would advise you to consult a veterinarian and have him tested for EPM.
