My dog swallowed a small piece of beef chew. Will he be okay?

Hello! I gave my dog a beef strap (chew) and he was chewing on it for a little while. He bit off a dime size amount and it appears that he swallowed it. I am wondering weather or not since it's muscle it will soften up in his stomach and he'll digest it, or if I should bring him to my vet. Thank you. He is coherent and acting fine.

Given it was a small size, it should pass fine on it's own. I wouldn't take Bentley into the vet now. You can monitor him for signs of obstruction (vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, constipation), but he should be fine :-)
