My cat licked poop from her anus. Do I need an emergency vet?

My cat has licked her feces off her anus. Should i call a emergency vet to pick her up?

No, I wouldn't have Lucy seen by an emergency vet. It's normal for cats to clean around their anus, and they can ingest feces when they do it. If it was only a small amount of feces, she was likely just cleaning. It could be that she has some diarrhea that is causing feces to be around her anus. If Lucy does have diarrhea, I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet.
