Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered
I have a chihuahua and bull terrier mix who is almost 4 years old. He hasn't received any of his shots since he has behaviour issues so we are not able to take him to the vet for fear he might bite someone. He has never had health problems but i'm concerned about taking him to get his rabies shot. Is it possible to only take him to the vet for just one shot? Or will the vet suggest that he gets all of the ones he is missing?.

Oreo really should get all of his vaccines, but given that rabies is the only one required by law, you can request only getting that one. Your vet will likely suggest giving him all of them, and I do encourage you to get them all done. Vets are used to deal with aggressive dogs, but please let them know Oreo is aggressive before bringing him in so they are prepared.

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Oreo is such a handsome dog! A veterinarian would be able to give Oreo his vaccines, or shots. He will need at least two vaccines including a Rabies vaccine and a combination vaccine for several viruses which are common in dogs. Your vet will also be able to advise you on additional vaccines Oreo may need based on your location and his activity level, as well as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Good luck with Oreo!
