Pet's info: Dog | Havanese | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 11 days old
My puppy refuses to come in through half closed doors that he usually just opened himself. Instead he whines next to them even though he is clearly able to come in. He's been awfully whiny for a few weeks now (for no reason like illness etc), and my downstairs neighbours don't like that I have a dog. So how can I stop him from whining and actually doing the things he could do a couple weeks ago?

Use treats, reward and gentle coaxing to get him through the door. Since he is a smaller breed, you can easily pick him up and carry him through the doorway as well. If he continues to whine for no reason, consider an exam with your vet just in case there is something going on.
