My dog's front paws are swollen, but I see no injury. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Female | unspayed | 11 years and 6 months old | 12 lbs

my dog's front paws are swollen but there are no abrasions, lumps or nothing is stuck in or around the foot. what could be wrong?

This could be an allergic reaction, an insect bite or an internal disease causing edema of the limbs, if this doesn't resolve in the next 48 hours i strongly advise taking Weiner to the vet in order to get it checked and treated.
