Whitey got an injury on his left hind leg. There is no bleeding, and no big scar of the injury. It just appears to be a small red spot. But he's behaving quite abnormally. He is not ready to eat or even wake from the bed. What must I do? as a first aid as our vet is unavailable for a few days!

Whitey is very handsome! I would recommend monitoring it if you can't get to a veterinarian. If he starts licking at it I recommend putting an Elizabethan collar on so he cannot reach it. If it is getting larger or if he is limping I recommend a vet as soon as possible. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
