My dog threw up and has diarrhea after eating. What's wrong?

My dog had loose motions in the morning and just puked his morning food out after eating in after 15 minutes What could be the problem?

There could be a couple of things wrong with Pluto, and unfortunately without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. He could be suffering from a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or pancreatitis. It could also be parvovirus if he isn't fully vaccinated. When a dog has both vomiting and diarrhea, it's time to see a vet. I would take him into now so the vet can diagnose what is causing his symptoms so he can be treated. Good luck, I hope this helps!

So I got home and my puppy golden retriever threw up and he had diarrhea. His threw up was like brown tan color and his poop was light brown. He’s very down, he doesn’t want to play or anything. I’m very worried and don’t know what to do.
I would take Opie into a vet immediately. He's just over two months old, and he will not be fully vaccinated yet so my first concern is parvovirus. He could also have a GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a foreign body. Whenever a young puppy is both vomiting and having diarrhea, it's time to see a vet right away. The vet can diagnose what is causing his symptoms, and can treat him. Best of luck.

My pet is frequently vomiting after every meal.
Hi there. Sorry to hear Pluto isn't feeling well. Vomiting after every meal is something you will have to take him in to have evaluated fully by your veterinarian. Possible causes include gastric reflux, esophageal sphincter issues, a condition called megaeophagus, etc to name a few. Unfortunately there will be a need for further diagnostics before any conclusions can be made in a case like yours. Your first step will likely be x rays to rule out any anatomical issue (a tumor pressing on your esophagus, a megaesophagus, or structure), and will progress from there.

I have a 7 month male labrador pit mix. He won't eat, is vomiting, & has diarrhea. He also has crusty sores on his neck, above his tail, and on his tail
Poor pup! He should see a vet right away, as it's recommended to see one when a dog is both vomiting and having diarrhea. He could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, have pancreatitis, or a foreign body. I would take him into a vet now, who can diagnose what is causing his symptoms and treat accordingly.

My dog has had diarrhea all of all of today and last night after having a bowel movement during the night, he seems normal, except for having the diarrhea. He just threw up bile or white foam, I fed him and he seems to have perked up again. Im unsure
Diarrhea and vomiting are usually signs referring to a intestinal problem. It could be due to dietary indiscretion (i.e. eating something that he shouldn't!), parasitic infestation, inflammatory disease (IBD inflammatory bowel disease), bacterial diseases or viral diseases especially if Archie is not fully vaccinated (i.e.: parvovirus). You could starve him for 4-6 hrs then provide bland food, boiled breast chicken and rice for the next 24 hrs (small and frequent meals) and monitor. If you spot blood in the faces or if he get lethargic, not eating, or if he continues to vomit and producing diarrhea, I would suggest to have him checked by your veterinarian as soon as possible. My dog woke up throwing up today at four am and so far she just threw for the 3 time today but I’m not sure why .
Vomiting could be caused by a number of things, including parasites, diet changes, toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, food sensitivity/allergy, decreased pancreatic function, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Please have your dog seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible to allow for diagnosis and treatment. If your dog could have eaten anything such as medications, household cleaners, plants, toys, food scraps, or garbage, please let the vet know about it to help them determine if there could be a toxicity. Poro Blick! I would be concerned that he may have eaten something outside causing him to vomit and have diarrhea. Due to this, I would have him seen by a vet right away. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, a urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to diagnose what is causing his vomiting and diarrhea, and can treat him for them.

My dog have feaver and vomiting .not eating anything ...eat some Grass and vomiting. What can I do now??
Poor Puchku sounds pretty sick at the moment! I'm not sure if he is vaccinated or not, but if he isn't, he could be suffering form parvo. He could also have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. I would have him seen by a vet for these symptoms. The vet can diagnose what is causing his symptoms and can treat him for it. I hope this helps!

so my puppy (rotterweiler) had gone through the parvo virus. he has had treatment for 11 days. and recovering for about a week or so. his poop color changed and he stopped vomiting but the poop didn't firm up yet. it still liquid. he its all his food
Hello. It does sometimes take time for the gut to heal after a bad bout of Parvo, & 11 days of treatment says to me this was a tough one. Continue to fed Pluto, but you might want to switch to an intestinal diet or one made for sensitive stomachs & skin. I would try feeding pretty small amounts frequently, rather than 2-3 larger meals a day. Even a tablespoon or two every hour or so might be tolerated better. If your Pluto was not under the care of a vet for this, I would also be concerned about concurrent intestinal parasites, so a good deworming may be necessary. Take a sample into your vet for analysis & a recommendation if there are parasites present. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Myixed dachshund keeps throwing up and having diarrhea. He seems a bit better than yesterday though. Maybe he ate something he wasn’t supposed to eat? (As he likes getting on the dinner table when no ones around to pick off left overs)
Diarrhea and vomiting Hi there. It sounds like Thor has a gastrointestinal infection which can be caused by bacteria, intolerance to something he ate, parasites or a virus. With the loose stool and continued vomiting, I would recommend that you take him to a vet. They can do a physical exam and a fecal test and once they know what’s going on they can get him the treatment he needs to feel better. Vomiting and diarrhea can cause dehydration so seeing your vet soon would be best for Thor. I hope that helps and thanks for using Pet Coach.

My dog isnt eating, barley drinking water. Puked. Has the runs
This is very concerning. Diarrhea and throwing up can be caused by a food sensitivity, dietary indiscretion, intestinal parasites, an intestinal blockage, bacterial infection, viral infection, the weather, food change, stress, etc.  As your dog is not eating and barely drinking I strongly suggest you take him to a petER for an exam.He will likely need fluids and supportive care to make him feel better.
