Why is my cat sick with white eye film, shedding, weight loss, and bad smell?

Hey,I have a black cat who looks really sick.he's 9 month old and there's a weird white thing at the corner of his eyes that keeps coming up over his eyes.he's shedding a lot of hair,I don't know if that not normal.He's eating and plays sometimes nut is losing weight.HE SMELLS BAD too.he's laying around most of the time like he's sick.my other cat just died with the same exact symptoms as him. Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 12 days old | 5 lbs

I'm so sorry about your other cat and that Desmond is so sick! These songs can be related to many different issues so without performing a physical examination on Desmond it's impossible to say what is causing his illness. I'd be concerned with an infectious problem or toxin because your other cat had the same signs. I recommend Desmond be examined by a veterinarian right away.
