Why is my pregnant goat's vulva swollen with something protruding?

I have a Nigerian Dwarf goat. She is 2 years old and is 5 months pregnant. When she was about a month pregnant she was attacked by a bobcat and was hurt very badly but healed up. Now it is time for her to be kidding but I think she is having problems. Her vulva is swollen and there is something protruding from her vulva. This has been occurring for about a week now.

This does not look normal, especially if it’s been like that a week. You need to have a veterinarian examine her to make sure the kids are alive and that she has enough room to have them naturally after her injury. She’s recovered from that so please have her checked so she can have the kids without complications. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Leaper.
