Can my neutered older male dog get worked up and restless if a nearby female is in heat? Pet's info: Dog | Airedale Terrier | Male | neutered | 12 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

To answer your question, yes, a neutered male can still become restless / worked up when he is exposed to the hormones from a female in heat. Though he is unable to impregnate the female, he can still be responsive to the hormones she is emitting.
