My Pom puppy won't eat and is unconscious. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 13 days old | 12 lbs

I have two pom puppies. One male(Tom) and one female(Emmy) . Female is more aggressive than male one. Eventhough Emmy is elder than Tom, she is heavy and bulk. But Tom is softer and comparatively has less weight. He is not eating nowadays and unconscious about surrounding. Emmy eats her food and continue to eat the Tom's food. Tom leaves away.

I would recommend bringing Tom to a veterinarian to be evaluated especially at his age it is not good when they will not eat. If they do not eat enough their glucose can drop too low and they can get seizures from it. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
