Can spaying stop my cat's constant meowing and door scratching?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 10 lbs

my cat will not stop meowing very loudly and constantly every hour every minute, except when it’s around somebody. we try to sleep at night but when she’s not in the room with you she scratches at the door and cry’s until you let her in, she’s not yet been spayed but will be soon, will this help her?

Assuming that Niyla’s vocalization and need for socialization are related to her going into heat, then yes, it is quite likely that having her spayed will help this behavior to improve. There could be other anxiety-related behaviors at play, but I would consider first having her spayed and then watching to see if these issues resolve. If not, it may be worth consulting a veterinary behaviorist or discussing anti-anxiety medication with your vet. I hope this helps and that all goes well!
