What are the best tick collar alternatives for dogs using Trifexis?

I previously used the Virbac Preventic dollar for tick protection on my dog since I live in a warm climate where ticks are a problem year-round. Unfortunately this collar has been unavailable (back order from manufacturer) for months so I need to find alternatives. What other collars provide safe, effective tick protection for dogs without serious side effects? My dog is already on monthly Trifexis for flea/heartworm so it needs to be something that is compatible/safe with this. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd - miniature | Male | neutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 24.7 lbs

Hi there! I like the Seresto collar for this purpose - it lasts 6-8 months depending on your dog's lifestyle (how often he goes swimming, etc.), and is effective against fleas and ticks. There is no problem using it in combination with monthly Trifexis.
