Why is my 8-month-old parrotlet suddenly weak and sleeping a lot?

Hello I have a 8months old Parrolet for past two days all the sudden she became week and been sleeping all day !!! Yesterday she stood up and eate a little but today she is acting same way !!! Please help. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female

I'm sorry to hear Sky isn't feeling well. Unfortunately, those are very general signs of illness that can be caused by a number of things, so seeking veterinary care is best to help narrow down the cause and get her feeling better. Illness, infections, parasites, malnutrition, etc can all cause a bird to become ill and lethargic. Until you can get to the vet, you can move Sky to a separate hospital cage that is kept warm if she is kept with other birds, with easy access to food and water, and in a calm, quiet location. This may help her some until your vet can determine the issue.
