Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 5 years and 9 months old
My cat had an operation removing what the doctor thought were crystals in her bladder. She was going to her litter box regularly and with very little pee. She is 6 and the doctor said she had an irritated bladder. She’s recovered from surgery and happy, although she has a slight discharge from where she pees. It is dark and has a strong urine smell. She is on UR food and drinks plenty water. Any idea what could be going on? Thanks, David

This is another sign of urinary tract inflammation, possibly could be quite normal after surgery (how long ago she had surgery performed?) especially if she is otherwise healthy and normal. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation to give us more clinical details or if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
