My dog is 10 months and extremely social and high energy. I have an awesome daycare near my office that is same cost as a once a day 30 minute dog walker so I prefer daycare where she’s not stuck in crate the whole day and she is exhausted when we get home. However a dog trainer suggested that four days a week is too much, and recommmended no more than two days. This would be more of a challenge for us and she seems to love it. Is four days too much??

I would take your cue from her. If she seems to enjoy daycare and is more relaxed and happy in the evenings when she's been there, then I don't see any problem with taking her four days a week if you want to. When I was in veterinary school, my own dog (a young Sheltie) went to doggy daycare five days a week while I was on clinical rotations my senior year. It was a great arrangement for him :)
