Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Female | unspayed
We are currently waiting for our puppy to come to our home and we have found out that the breeder's home has had carbon monoxide and we wanted to know if this will affect the puppy in anyway and also will it cause problems as the puppy gets older. She is 7 weeks old. Thanks

Serious carbon monoxide poisoning can cause blue/grey gums, increased breathing/gasping or extreme lethargy. If an alarm went off, the people and the animals were removed from the house, the problem fixed, and the house aired-out, there is little concern. If your puppy is eating, playing, and has pink gums, I would not be concerned. Unless there was severe hypoxia (oxygen starvation) to the brain - requiring hospitalization or blood transfusion, I do not expect any long term effects for Sky. Hope this helps and congratulations on the new puppy!
