Good morning. I would like to know what is the purpose of magnesium sulfate in moist dog food?

Magnesium is an essential mineral in the diet. It is commonly added to food in the form of magnesium sulfate. Magnesium is required to maintain muscle and nerve function, is an important component of bone, and plays many other roles in the body.
