Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 1 month and 10 days old
Hey, I'm getting Jasper at 6 weeks since the breeder is sick and needs surgery, therefore won't be able to care for the puppies. I'm taking him home on Thursday, what should I know? I want to take care of him the best I can since he'll be away from his mom.

He will need to eat 3-4 times a day. If he is weaned, then you can find puppy food. If not, then you will need to get puppy milk replacer and continue to bottle feed until he transitions to food completely. Make sure he stays warm and has something ti snuggle with. Get him a small kennel to have as his place where he can stay when no one is watching them. His vaccines will need to be started at 6 weeks along with being dewormed. Make an appointment for this to be done so he can be examined by your vet.
