Pet's info: Cat | American Curl | Female | 3 lbs
Today, I noticed Scruffy walking strangely. She is walking very slowly and gingerly. Her back legs sometimes give out. This happened before, and it went away. Also, she seems "slow" and her eyes look odd, like there's a film on them. She can see fine, and isn't in any pain. She has mainly hid under the bed today. She is eating and drinking. Her bathroom habits are normal also. What should I do!?

A little more information about Scruff would be really helpful in giving you a helpful answer. I see she is 3 pounds, so I assume she is either a small kitten or a frail geriatric cat. These age groups would ha e very different possibilities of what could be causing then problems. Regardless, weakness and hiding are always concerning in cats. Cats are very good at hiding their pain and it is possible that she is painful but hiding it well. Also problems such as anemia, heart disease, and neurologic problems can be the cause. I would encourage you to post another question with as much background information as possible. I would also encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
