My 8-year-old Chihuahua circled, now she won't move. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 8 years old | 8 lbs

My Chihuahua has been acting strange ever since this morning. She is about 8 years old, she had circled the same room for about 30 minutes. Now she's not moved from the same spot in over a few hours. I don't know what wrong with her. What could it be?

Poor Bella! Repeated circling behavior can be a sign of focal seizure activity in some dogs, or could be due to a brain tumor or anxiety. After seizures some dogs experience a post-ictal phase, which can result in lethargy for a period of time. Regardless of the cause, Bella's behavior is not normal and should be evaluated by her veterinarian to try to get to the bottom of this issue so that proper treatment can be started, if needed. I hope that all goes well!
