I was told my dog crashed after his operation for gdv and im just wondering what it means when an animal crashes is this a vet term for somtjing else ect. Pet's info: Dog | Alaskan Malamute | Female | spayed | 3 years and 9 months old

It means that your dog's heart suddenly stopped beating and stopped breathing. At this point, CPR is performed to get the dog's heart to start beating again and to start them breathing again. If this happened to Bon, I'm very sorry but I certainly hope that the vets were able to get his heart beating and his breathing started again. I hope this helps!
